I am a resolutions person. I believe in setting small intentions to do - or stopping doing - things that will bring me the tiniest bit further on the never-ending journey of becoming who I am. I know it's easy to eye-roll emoji all over the idea of "New Year, new me," but I have proved to myself time and time again that if we can commit to making one small change, not a complete life makeover at once, a snowball of positive effects will start to form. And those are often shifts you might not have otherwise envisioned for yourself. 

If the coming year is one in which you feel a pull to grow or make a leap professionally, I've put together a little event to make that first step happen:

Head(shot) Start 2018 is a day of unstuffy portraits for serious people. We will be shooting at a modern downtown office, so these are perfect for updating LinkedIn, personal or business websites, resumes, business cards, social media or anything on which you can put yo mug and sell yo-self! If you need a head shot for something other than the pursuit of an office job  Because while yo-selfies are fun, they have no business 

Also note: if you need a head shot for something other than the pursuit of an office job, this location has plenty of beautiful and non-officey corners (such as a sa-sweet rooftop with amazing downtown views) so we can create something more neutral that can be used in a variety of settings!

On makeup and wardrobe will be Michaela Palamar, whose services you can politely decline  but I would highly encourage you to let her shine (or perhaps de-shine) you up before your 30 min head shot session. After the shoot, you'll receive a gallery of ten fully edited images from which you can choose one to keep or purchase more or all.
